Tick tock, tick tock, I'm a little cuckoo clock.
Tick tock, tick tock, now it's one o'clock.
Cuckoo! (Lift baby into the air)

Continue with two, three, four and five o'clock.


Now the Time Is:

Do the rhyme standing, holding child securely under arms and swing child like a pendulum, lifting them high in the air on "cuckoo".

Tick tock, tick tock, I'm a little cuckoo clock. (swing baby side to side)
Tick tock, tick tock, now the time is one o'clock.
Cuckoo! (lift baby into the air)

Tick tock, tick tock, I'm a little cuckoo clock. (swing baby side to side)
Tick tock, tick tock, now the time is two o'clock.
Cuckoo! Cuckoo! (lift baby into on each "cuckoo")

Repeat with "three o'clock".


Now I'm Striking:

Tick tock, tick tock, I'm a little Cuckoo clock. (rock gently side to side)
Tick tock, tick tock, now I'm striking one o'clock.
Cuckoo. (lift in air once.)
Tick tock, tick tock, I'm a little cuckoo clock(rock side to side)
Tick tock, tick tock, now I'm striking two o'clock.
Cuckoo, cuckoo! (lift in air twice)
Repeat with three o'clock.
*variation: Now it's time for us to stop! (Freeze until someone giggles)
